Established in 1979, the Guild of Harwich Artists has become a vital member of the growing local arts and cultural fabric for which the Cape Cod town of Harwich is becoming known. Over the years it has been art that brings us together, but it is our supportive community of established and emerging artists that binds us together. Membership is open to all Cape Cod residents.

Why are Cape Cod Mermaids the only mermaids in the world to have a bellybutton in the shape of a heart? Could it be because their hearts are true and loyal to the man they love? They never forget him no matter what happens to separate them or for how long. Cape Cod mermaids are thought to be the most beautiful mermaids in the world with sweet voices like angels. Some people call them “Angels of the Sea”.
