Patricia Kelley
It took a watercolor class in Lexington, with artist George Shedd, in 1972, that determined my number one art medium would be watercolor. Challenging, yes. But provocative and exciting, definitely. Despite teaching math in boarding schools for many years, I managed to find time to teach art, design sets and posters for various school events, instruct and print awards in calligraphy and take art classes with students.
Upon retirement, I enjoyed and learned watercolor techniques from classes with Larry Folding of Harwich and Debra Ruddeforth of Chatham.
At present, I enjoy painting with Guild members at the Community Center and taking part in Art in the Park in Harwich Port where my family and friends come to have fun and see some great art.
