On Saturday, February 15 at 2:00 p.m., the Guild of Harwich Artists will host Harwich resident, Odin Smith, as our speaker and demonstrator at the February Monthly Meeting held at the Harwich Community Center. Odin will demonstrate how she creates her evocative, energetic paintings. Working in acrylic, she creates light-filled works that radiate a wonderful energy. As both an artist and a teacher, this combination makes attending her presentation a special afternoon in the middle of winter. Odin is known for her classes at several art centers on Cape Cod as well as her “Friday Night Wine Downs” which lead absolute beginners as well as those with experience through creating a painting in a fun-filled evening. The Guild of Harwich Artists hold monthly meetings January through May, and September through November, at the Harwich Community Center, 100 Oak Street, Harwich, MA. Each meeting features a well-known Cape artist demonstrator. All programs are free and open to the public.
