Guild of Harwich Artists Kicks Off 45th Season of Art-in-the-Park

The Guild of Harwich Artists was started in 1979 by local artists who had been informally exhibiting art at Doane Park in Harwich Port. On Monday, July 1st, member artists raised their white tents to commence the 45th season of ‘Art-in-the-Park.’  Fine art and juried crafts will be available for purchase every Monday 11am-4pm (weather permitting) through Labor Day. Ample parking is available in the adjacent Post Office Square parking lot.  The park is ADA accessible and leased dogs are welcome.

This season’s Art-in-the-Park artists include Karen Shortsleeve, Gail Tilton (with dog Charlie), Pat Kelley, Natalie Stafford, Marlene Weil, Mary Ann Simpson, Elizabeth Murphy, Carrol Bradley, Pat Krystofolski, Joanne Patukonis, Martha Fuentes, Mary Edwards,  Annie Merzel and Sharon Digennaro.
