Established in 1979, the Guild of Harwich Artists has become a vital member of the growing local arts and cultural fabric for which the Cape Cod town of Harwich is becoming known. Over the years it has been art that brings us together, but it is our supportive community of established and emerging artists that binds us together. Membership is open to all Cape Cod residents.
Anne Briggs, who was a GHA member and a Gallery participant for a number of years, passed away at her home in Arlington, MA. Anne grew up in Attleboro and spent summers in Harwich Port. She loved the beach and everything the Cape had to offer. Anne was an award-winning artist at the Cape Cod Art Center, the Creative Art Center as well as in the Arlington area.
Monomoy Regional High School 2019 graduate Abigail Kelley is shown holding the Guild of Harwich Artist’s 2019 Art Scholarship award of $1000. Abby received her $1000 check after successfully completing her first semester at the Maine College of Art.
