Oil Monotypes, or How an Oil Painter Can Become a Printmaker Fast and Easy!
This demonstration will cover the process of a basic printmaking process for oil painters. Using your current oil painting supplies and some simple tools, you can create beautiful, unique prints. It can easily be taken into the field for plein air monotyping. You will get the opportunity to experience applying paint to the plexiglass matrix and making a print at the end of the demonstration.
The Guild of Harwich Artists hold monthly meetings January through May, and September through November, at the Harwich Community Center, 100 Oak Street, Harwich, MA. Each meeting features a well-known Cape artist demonstrator. All programs are free and open to the public.
