Brian is a Cape Cod artist who primarily works in oils for his landscape and still-life paintings. Realism and simplicity best describe Brian’s style. His compositions portray scenes that are both simple and alluring. He feels so fortunate to be living on Cape Cod with its beautiful coastal landscapes and its special lighting.
A graduate of Boston College and the U.S. Naval Officer Candidate School, Brian spent most of his working career involved in the operation of a manufacturing business in Central Massachusetts. Upon retirement, he and his wife moved from Harvard, MA to Harwich, MA on Cape Cod.
Although he is considered to be a self-taught artist, Brian has taken many painting workshops in watercolors and in oils. His paintings were juried into both the 2014 and 2015 All Cape Cod Art Show at the Creative Arts Center in Chatham, MA.
