Harwich artist Barbara Hageman will demonstrate interpreting a painting from an iPhone photo into meaningful original work of art.

Step 1: “Interpreting a vision, not just copying a pix!” Step 2: “I start with a toned canvas which creates a visual vibrancy once I’ve added the actual colors for the painting.” Step 3: “I do color studies to determine which core colors I will use to create the final painting.”
Stop by on Saturday, August 3 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Barbara will be showing the finished result for this painting plus related paintings.
The Art Gallery is now open all week, Monday-Saturday 10:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. and Sunday 12:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. Free parking is available at the visitor center directly across the street.
