Weedy Tyldesley
“I find Cape Cod to be a marvelous place to practice my art. The very essence of the Cape provides a never-ending source of material. I feel such a connection with its water, its sandscapes, its marshes, and its sunsets.”
I have spent many years working almost exclusively in pastels, but recently I have begun experimenting with other media I find that I enjoy mixing colors for a change and also wielding a brush. The change of materials gives me a new perspective and a new interest in exploring the various media. I have been working with oils, acrylics, watercolors, inks, and, of course, pastels. It’s fun to shake things up by trying new approaches.
My work is on permanent display at The Art Gallery of Guild of Harwich Artists, 551 Route 28, Harwich Port, MA 02645
In July and August, I display my work at Art in the Park in Harwich Port, on Mondays from 10:00 – 5:00. (Across from the Harwich Port Post Office.)
