Elizabeth Adams Tyldesley
“WEEDIE”
“I find Cape Cod to be a marvelous place to practice my art. The
very essence of the Cape provides a never-ending source of material. I
feel such a connection with its water, its sandscapes, its marshes and
its sunsets.”
I have spent many years working almost exclusively in pastels, but recently I have
begun experimenting with other media I find that I enjoy mixing colors for a
change and also wielding a brush. The change of materials gives me a new
perspective and a new interest in exploring the various media. I have been working
with oils, acrylics, watercolors, inks and, of course, pastels. I also enjoy working
digitally using Procreate on my iPad. It’s fun to shake things up by trying new
approaches.
My work is on permanent display at The Guild of Harwich Artists’ Gallery, 551
Route 28, Harwich Port, MA 02645.
