After successfully gathering over 80 member-created “sunshine cards” that Council on Aging distributed for Valentine’s Day and Easter/Spring, can we do it one last time for Memorial Day? The COA distributes the cards with their delivered lunches. Donna Tavano and Peg Rose were behind this effort. Donna notes that Peg requested that we do a last round, which as it happened, was her “last wish.” Donna has already created 54 cards and needs only 31 cards to meet our goal.If you can contribute an uplifting image on a 4×6 paper these will be placed into an envelop and delivered to COA on May 27th. Supplies are available at the Open Painting Session held each Thursday at the Harwich Community Center, room #3 between 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Supplies can also be picked up at Donna’s house, please email for more information.
