Established in 1979, the Guild of Harwich Artists has become a vital member of the growing local arts and cultural fabric for which the Cape Cod town of Harwich is becoming known. Over the years it has been art that brings us together, but it is our supportive community of established and emerging artists that binds us together. Membership is open to all Cape Cod residents.
Join master artist John Glass at a free demonstration this Saturday, May 12 from 2 to 4 PM at The Art Gallery of the Guild of Harwich Artists. John will illustrate the under painting technique he uses to start his oil paintings, with the subject a riverside spot.
The Art Gallery is located at 551 Main Street (Rte.28) in Harwich Port, (508) 432-1012. Free parking across the street at the Harwich Chamber of Commerce Visitors Information Center.
