Established in 1979, the Guild of Harwich Artists has become a vital member of the growing local arts and cultural fabric for which the Cape Cod town of Harwich is becoming known. Over the years it has been art that brings us together, but it is our supportive community of established and emerging artists that binds us together. Membership is open to all Cape Cod residents.
The Guild of Harwich Artists hosted their annual ‘Make-It-Take-It’ community art event Saturday, September 14, during the Harwich Cranberry Festival held at the Harwich Community Center. Over 200 participants stopped by to try their hand at one or more painting media stations that included oil, acrylic, pastel, colored pencil, Chinese brush
painting and collage. Everyone left with a free original art work and a big smile.
