Donna Tavano and Peg Rose are asking for your help to bring some much needed “sunshine” to our local community in need. Guild members are asked to paint the cover of 4×6 cards with a short cheering-up note on the inside. These will be included with the Harwich Council on Aging (COA) lunches to be delivered to Harwich seniors for Valentine’s Day. COA Director Emily Mitchell is quite enthusiastic about the project. The Harwich COA will be delivering about 85 meals. Cards are needed by Thursday, February 4, 2021.
If you don’t have your own, colored 4 x 6 cards are available at the weekly Thursday painting sessions (1-3:30 pm) at the Harwich Community Center (Activity Room 4) or by contacting Donna Tavano.
