Established in 1979, the Guild of Harwich Artists has become a vital member of the growing local arts and cultural fabric for which the Cape Cod town of Harwich is becoming known. Over the years it has been art that brings us together, but it is our supportive community of established and emerging artists that binds us together. Membership is open to all Cape Cod residents.

Free Artist Demonstration by Doris Mee – Saturday, August 17, 2:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Art Gallery of the Guild of Harwich Artists, Harwich Port.

On Saturday August 17, 2-4pm, the Guild of Harwich Artists Art Gallery ‘Meet the Artist’ series features Doris Mee. Doris will present her method for painting and assembling her award-winning unique mixed media/collage paintings. She uses a wide variety of papers, which she hand-paints in watercolor or acrylic in preparation for assembling her collage. Several of her newest paintings will be displayed at the Guild’s Art Gallery 551 Main Street (Rte. 28) Harwich Port. The public is welcome – light refreshments will be served.

The Art Gallery is now open all week, Monday-Saturday 10:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. and Sunday 12:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. Free parking is available at the visitor center directly across the street.
