Donna Tavano

An artist and writer —longtime columnist for the Cape Cod Chronicle— Donna attended Northfield School for Girls and Bennington College. Self-taught, she plays in oil, acrylic, mixed medium, water color and metal.

She and husband, Frank, raised five sons and enjoy nine grandkids. Her work has been shown at the Creative Arts Center/Chatham, Cape Cod Museum of Art/Dennis, Cultural Center of Cape Cod/Harwich, Cape Cod Five Cent Bank/East Harwich and Galley West Gallery, Church of the Holy Spirit/ Orleans.

Donna has designed and painted theatrical sets and murals, presented workshops to women at the Barnstable County Correctional Center and has donated her work to many local non-profits for fundraisers. She operates a summer shop, Eclectsia, out of her home at 500 Route 28 Harwich Port, MA which features her paintings, jewelry and fiber creations, as well as the work of artist friends.

Her work may also be viewed at local banks and businesses during the year.
