Christmas Stroll Annual Fundraiser Success

Dear Members,

Chris Banks, Chairperson for this year’s Christmas Ornament Sale, reports that sales during the Christmas Stroll on December 1 was a big success. Sales at the Chamber of Commerce and the Art Gallery totaled 150.

Thank you, Chris, for chairing this event!

Thank you, members, who created the beautiful miniature paintings. I spent some time at the Chamber building and the Gallery and witnessed many people buying not just one, but in many cases, 2, 3, and more, and talking excitedly how beautiful they are and so happy to purchase at such a reasonable price. We are so fortunate to have so many talented artists in our Guild who were willing to devote many hours to making this happen.

If you missed the Stroll Friday night, ornaments are still for sale at the Guild Art Gallery, and will be until December 17. The Gallery is open weekends until then, including Friday, December 15. Tell your relatives and friends to drop by and see for themselves how lovely these paintings are. They make great gifts, and not just for Christmas; many people use the little stands on the back and keep them on their desks or side tables.Enjoy the rest of the weekend and “Christmas in Harwich” events.
