Established in 1979, the Guild of Harwich Artists has become a vital member of the growing local arts and cultural fabric for which the Cape Cod town of Harwich is becoming known. Over the years it has been art that brings us together, but it is our supportive community of established and emerging artists that binds us together. Membership is open to all Cape Cod residents.

Meet The Artists Weedie Tyldesley and Elaine Felos Ostrander at a free demonstration on Saturday, August 12 from 2 to 4 pm at The Art Gallery of the Guild of Harwich Artists

Weedie will be painting an arrangement of summer flowers in acrylic on canvas.

Known for her complicated sports montages, Elaine will demonstrate her process of transferring an idea from a sketch to the desired painting surface, then using watercolor paints and Caran Dache crayons, turn the sketch into a completed painting.

The Art Gallery of The Guild of Harwich Artists, 551 Main Street (Route 28), Harwich Port, is open 7-days a week, including extended hours for Summer Port Nights. The Art Gallery exhibits original artwork by 24 local artists. Free public parking located across the street at the Tourist Information Center of the Harwich Chamber of Commerce. Refreshments will be served.
