Jini Funk

Jini Funk, a West Harwich resident, is a working artist now showing The Art Gallery of the Guild of Harwich Artists. She has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe, Russia, Australia, and New Zealand, gathering information for her paintings. Mainly self-taught, Jini is a member and a past director of The Art Gallery of the Guild of Harwich Artists. She has worked with oils for the better part of 30 years, but lately is branching out and enjoying using pastels. Jini paints landscapes and seascapes, but has a special affinity and a love of painting “still life” subjects. She has studied with Ian McGiver at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and the late Lillian Whiteman; a student of the TV personality and author Helen Van Wyck. Jini and her art can also be found during July and August at Art in the Park in Harwich Port.
