“In cooperation with Town of Harwich guidelines, Art in The Park has been cancelled this season in light of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Members look forward to resuming our Harwich Port summer tradition in 2021,” Chris Banks, Guild of Harwich Artists.

Members of The Guild of Harwich Artists exhibit and sell original artwork in Harwich Port’s Doane Park in what has become a highlight event of the summer.

Each Monday, Guild participants exhibit work in a wide range of artistic styles and mediums including pastels drawings, watercolor, and oil paintings. Artists are thrilled to engage with the public about their work.

Beautiful Doane Park, with gardens maintained by The Garden Club of Harwich, is utilized for many town events including the annual Tree Lighting and Family Carol Sing. Ample public parking available in adjacent Post Office Square host to the Harwich Port Post Office, CVS Pharmacy, True Value Hardware, and Dunkin’ Donuts. Strolling and shopping Harwich Port center? Doane Park is an easy walk from Harwich Port center including the Guild’s Art Gallery at 551 Route 28.
